The project for the renovation of the Bratus Homestead has been selected for the national selection of architectural works for the Mies van der Rohe Prize.
The Mies van der Rohe Prize, officially the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award, is Europe’s most important prize for contemporary architecture. It was founded in 1988 on the initiative of the European Commission and the Mies van der Rohe Foundation in Barcelona.
It is awarded every two years for outstanding architectural achievements that contribute to the development of contemporary European architecture. The prize highlights innovation, quality of execution, sustainable approaches and the cultural significance of architecture in the wider European context.
